Peleș, Știrbey and Cantacuzino

A day in the Prahova Valley, where Romania’s kings and princes built their mountain residences. Peleș in Sinaia was the summer palace of King Carol I; the Știrbey estate and Cantacuzino Castle in Bușteni look out over the Bucegi Mountains.
