Corvin Castle, Deva and Sibiu

Our longest trip, west across Transylvania to Corvin Castle in Hunedoara, one of the largest Gothic castles in Europe, and the hilltop citadel of Deva, with Făgăraș and Sibiu on the way.

Your day, step by step

  1. Pickup in Brașov

    We collect you from your hotel or address in Brașov.

  2. Făgăraș Fortress

    One of the best-kept fortresses in Transylvania, ringed by a moat.

  3. Sibiu

    A short stop in the old town of Sibiu.

  4. Corvin Castle, Hunedoara

    Across the wooden bridge into the castle of the Hunyadi family, with its knights’ hall, towers and courtyard.

  5. Deva Citadel

    A funicular climbs the volcanic hill to the ruined citadel above Deva, with a wide view over the Mureș valley. Then the long drive back to Brașov.

  6. Back in Brașov

    Back at your hotel in Brașov in the evening.
